GEALAN-acrylcolor® — colour that lasts for decades
The colour on the profile is neither foil nor paint: it is a layer of coloured acrylic glass that is inseparably fused with the PVC while the profile is made. The result is a finely matt surface that resists scratches, sun and weather.

Technology
How the acrylcolor® surface is made
Profile and coloured layer leave the same extrusion die: while the PVC is still warm, coloured acrylic glass (PMMA) is applied to the outside and bonds with it permanently. No adhesive, no foil edges and no paint layer that could crack.
- The whole acrylic layer is coloured, so minor scratches are less visible
- Acrylic glass is harder than PVC and foil
- Finely matt, even surface without wood grain
- The inside can stay white
Comparison
acrylcolor® or foiled PVC?
Both give you a coloured profile. The difference is how the colour is joined to the profile — and how it behaves after many years in the sun.

For a wood look we recommend wood-grain foils; for modern greys and dark tones, acrylcolor®.

On-screen colours are approximate. Please look at profile samples with us before ordering. We also offer white profiles and wood-grain foils.

- Rain, frost and moisture cannot lift the layer because there is no bond line that could fail.
